Abstract

In this work, we consider the Rayleigh-Plesset (RP) equation for describing spherical gas-filled bubbles dynamics in N-dimensions. A new approach to construct analytical solution for the RP equation is proposed using trigonometric function. As its application, we study the adiabatic compressions by monatomic gas and diatomic gas. At last, we show that both bubble radius and period decrease with the increasing of the pressure ratio.
