Abstract

In recent years, the demand for weak target detection in SAR images is increasing, and research on radar complex signal analysis is also developing. Based on the moving target detection method using amplitude images, this paper proposes a kernel-based moving target detection method using complex images in sequential SAR. By processing the real and imaginary parts of complex signal separately and upgrading the kernel method, the effectiveness of moving target detection is improved. Firstly, the simulation model of complex images in sequential SAR is introduced, followed by a kernel-based moving target detection method using complex images. Weighted kernel functions are used in this process. Finally, a comparison is made between amplitude images detection method and improved complex images detection method to verify the superiority of complex images detection in sequential SAR.
