N2 - A general framework based on the surface equivalence theorem is proposed to model electromagnetic effects. It provides one general procedure to handle various boundary conditions, which are not easy to be dealt with in the traditional integral equation (IE) methods. One surface equivalent current density is constructed for various scenarios involved different material interfaces. Then, by combining the governing equation in the exterior region, electromagnetic fields can be calculated. Two numerical examples are provided to validate its effectiveness.
