Abstract

A fast source reconstruction method based on far-field data inversion is proposed in this paper. The matrix equation of the far-field and the source field distribution is established by the surface integral method. The source field distribution of can be obtained by solving the matrix equation. The conversion of the far-field to the spherical coordinate system eliminates the r-direction far-field component and reduces the correlation of the coefficient matrix. The inversion of the field distribution with large field magnitude narrows the solution scope and improves the solution accuracy. Patch antenna is simulated to validate the proposed method. The method can provide valuable insights for antenna and radome defect diagnosis.
