A fast response photonic crystal fiber grating refractometer with a side-opening structure

Abstract

A photonic crystal fiber grating refractometer with a side-opening structure is proposed and studied, which can achieve real time response, minimal refractive index resolution of 1.32×105 R.I.U and high efficient grating writing.
