Abstract

This work presents a dynamics model of triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) transducers, which connects the TENG structural mode and parameters, the motion input, the electrical signal output and the electrostatic force feedback. On this basis, a fast numerical method is proposed for the TENG performance prediction, and its numerical results are in good agreement with those of the finite element method (FEM). Furthermore, using this model, some important and interesting issues including the periodic input, the limiting output, and the similarity are discussed.
