Abstract

In this paper, a new method of designing dual frequency beam reconfiguration reflectarray antenna is proposed. The dual resonant reflection unit cell which is composed of double dipole patch printed on grounded dielectric substrate is implemented to construct the reflectarray. And a slotted waveguide arrays is utilized to be the feed of the antenna, it provides an approximate cylindrical wave in its near field region to irradiate the reflectarray for the aim of simplifying the design process. The far field patterns of the antenna in the two working frequencies are calculated, the results show that the antenna has good radiation characteristics and the direction of radiation beam will change when the working frequency turns to another.
