Abstract

In order to overcome some shortcomings of DEVS, this paper proposes a modeling and simulation methodology named COSIM, which is introduced from structure and behavior description of simulation system. Then the core components of COSIM, Atomic Component (AC) and Compound Components (CC) are presented with their formal definition. Moreover, COSIM specification is introduced in the form of graphic items and text formats. Finally an implementation example is given.
