abstract = "Increasing demand for quality control for complex component manufacturing in the aviation industry calls for the development of an automated integrated inspection system. Online measurement technology can solve the problem of high labor consumption and low efficiency of traditional inspection mode. To build a complete online measurement-based framework for component inspection in the aviation industry, an automatic path planning strategy integrated with an error evaluation and compensation framework was put forward in this article. Detailed planning steps and transformation relationships between each segment are discussed to reach a closed-loop workflow consequently. With the help of CATIA secondary development technology and the J2EE platform, an application system containing multi functions in the process of inspection activity was developed. In the end, the proposed system was put into use in a helicopter factory to expound the practicability and effectiveness of the methodologies.",
