Abstract

In this ar ticle, we propose a 3D shape measurement technique based on a novel structured l ight encoding and decoding scheme . In this technique, as few as three images can be used to obtain the absolute 3D shape of the measured object. By adding per turbations to the Hamil tonian coding patterns, new coding patterns which have higher per formance can be obtained. These patterns are projected onto the measured object, then normal ized cross-cor relat ion (ZNCC) decoding is per formed using the obtained image sequence. The exper imental resul ts ver ified that our method is feasible.
