abstract = "Reconstruction and visualization of industrial process tomographic images are important for monitoring an industrial process and improving efficiency and overall control of the process. This paper presents a method for 3D dynamic visualization of industrial process tomographic images. This method is based on volume visualization technique with ray casting implemented in Medical Imaging ToolKit (MITK) which is a C++ library for medical image processing and analyzing developed by our group. It separates different substances with different colours and opacities, and provides a dynamic 3D display of the process inside the vessels or pipelines. With the hardware acceleration of the volume rendering algorithm, this method is of potential to be used in a real-time industrial tomography system.",
