“新工科”通识教育背景下的“名师研讨课”

The general education of “New engineering” is a bridge connecting the traditional general education and the professional education of engineering, which takes the concept of comprehensive development of education, outcome-based concept and evidence-based idea as the core. As a part of the “Science and technology civilization” course for general education, the “Famous teacher seminar” aims to explore the teaching model based on students' autonomous learning, guidance of famous teachers and discussion between teachers and students by inviting high-level distinguished teachers, so as to make students appreciate the teaching style and personality charm of famous teachers, and improve their comprehensive ability of learning, analysis, expression and cooperation, stimulate their interest and explore their research potential. This paper introduces the course orientation, teaching theme, teaching method, teaching model and teaching content of “Famous teacher seminar”.
