Abstract
A computational analysis method was proposed to investigate the distribution characteristic of solar radiation on the stratospheric airship surface. Based on this method,the geometrical mesh of the airship along the longitude direction was constructed and the mathematic model to calculate the received solar radiation by the airship surface mesh was developed. Using this scheme,the solar radiation distribution along the length of the warp on different flight dates on typical airship surface were calculated and analyzed,and the inconsistencies the solar radiation distribution positions of different flight dates were compared. The results can be used to guide the optimal layout and array configuration of solar cells.
