Abstract
This paper introduces the basic principle of TDOA algorithm, and analyzes the reason of locating fuzzy solution region and non-solution region. By simulating the fuzzy solution region under different two-dimensional station distribution conditions, the regional distribution of fuzzy solution under different angle and different baseline length is obtained, and the influence of different stations distribution on the regional distribution of two-dimensional fuzzy solution is summarized. The effects of baseline length and station shape on positioning accuracy are analyzed by TDOA based geometric dilution of precision (GDOP) method. Under the condition of four stations and three dimensions, the positioning accuracy of different stations is simulated and analyzed. The distribution law of geometric dilution of precision under different conditions of station distribution is obtained, which provides a reference for receiver station distribution in practical engineering application.
