Abstract
In this paper, a sea clutter suppression technique of subspace based on sea clutter correlation is proposed. By analyzing the temporal correlation and texture spatial correlation of sea clutter, the strong correlation-time of sea clutter and the strong correlation-range of texture, which can be used to construct sea clutter covariance matrix consisting of clutter subspace and clutter-suppression subspace, are obtained. Finally, the sea clutter data are orthogonally projected into the clutter suppression subspace to achieve suppression of the sea clutter. The validation of measured data shows that the proposed method can suppress both single-frame and long-time sea clutter data, and the clutter-rejected data also achieves better target detection performance.
