Abstract
Due to the rapid current rise and strong destructiveness of VSC-HVDC transmission system in the faut, a fast and stable DC circuit breaker is urgently necessary In this paper, an integrated actuating and holding mechanism based on semi-hard magnetic material, which has the characteristics of fast response and high holding force, is proposed. First, Jiles-Atherton combined with particle swarm optimization is used to analyze the hysteresis characteristics of semi-hard magnetic materials, and the equivalent magnetic circuit of semi-hard magnetic mechanism is set up to analyze the influencing factors of electromagnetic force of the mechanism. Then, the simulation model of the semihard magnetic mechanism is set up based on Comsol multiphysics finite element simulation software. Both static and dynamic processes of the semi-hard magnetic mechanism are analyzed, and the electromagnetic and mechanical characteristics in the process are obtained. Finally, a semi-hard magnetic mechanism prototype is set up in accordance with the simulation results, and the operation experiment of the semi-hard magnetic mechanism is performed to obtain the dynamic characteristics of the prototype. The correctness of the simulation is verified by comparing with the simulation results, which can provide an efficient and precise calculation method as well as theoretical basis for the subsequent research and design of the semi-hard magnetic mechanism.
