Abstract
Based on the thermoacoustic oscillation in the combustion chamber of aerospace engine and industrial gas turbine, the basic concept and physical properties of thermoacoustic instabilities are introduced. Firstly, the dynamic response of the flame in the combustion chamber to the incoming flow perturbation is discussed. The pulsation process of flame heat release rate when influenced by disturbance is analyzed, and the experimental, simulation and theoretical methods and results of flame transfer function and flame describing function are reviewed. Then, the flame response characteristics of transversal-longitudinal perturbation, longitudinal dual-frequency perturbation and considering flame curvature effect are discussed and analyzed. Finally, the intrinsic thermoacoustic instabilily, which is a kind of thermoacoustic instability closely related to the flame response in recent years is introduced. The effect of flame response in the combustion chamber thermoacoustic oscillation system is investigated, and the effect of flame response on the mode of intrinsic thermoacoustic instability is explored.
