Abstract

The rotary modulation strapdown inertial navigation system is a new development direction of inertial navigation system, which can effectively improve the navigation accuracy of inertial navigation system. The design of rotation order is the key of the rotation modulation scheme.In order to solve the problem of local optimum in traditional dual-axis eight-order rotation scheme, a new design scheme of dual-axial gloabal optimal rotation order is proposed in this paper. Based on the analysis of the offset principle of the constant drift, scale factor and installation errors in the process of dual-axial rotating modulation, the relationship between installation error and optimal rotation order is further studied and the design basis is given. Finally, based on the design basis, the optimal eight-order rotation scheme is designed. Compared with the traditional dual-axis eight-order rotation scheme, under the setting conditions, the oscillation of attitude, velocity and position errors of new rotation scheme is reduced by 1/3, 1/2 and 1/3 respectively, and the divergence speed of longitude error is also improved.
