Abstract
A δ-equality of two fuzzy sets means the two fuzzy sets are equal to each other to an extent of S. In this paper we present basic properties of 6-equality and various results on 6-equality with respect to algebraic operations, fuzzy relations, extension principle and triangular norms. We also present a number of reliability examples to show usability of δ-equality in reality.
